Bridal Tips
Following are some preparations you need to consider for the most important person on the day - the BRIDE
Waxing and Tinting
It is always a good idea to have your eyebrows waxed and also tinted (if needed) and your eyelashes tinted in the last week before your wedding. Having your eyebrows waxed and tinted (if needed) will define them better. Also having an eyelash tint will give the appearance of darker thicker lashes and you will need less mascara on the day also once the false eyelashes are applied to the tinted lashes the look is amazing. This is a must for every bride. Lash perming is also a good idea it really opens up the eyes, make sure that you still have an eyelash tint if you have a perm. It is also a good idea to have any other waxing you may need done at this time also.
Manicure and Pedicure
For those brides who don’t wear artificial nail enhancements a manicure is a must on the day before the wedding. Most brides have a pedicure also because even if you are wearing closed in shoes on the day there is always the honeymoon to consider. The hands and feet are just as important as the rest of the look for your wedding. Those brides with artificial nail enhancements make sure you get your nails infilled in the last week before your wedding.
Artificial Nail Enhancements
Artificial nail enhancements are a good idea if you bite your nails or are in the majority of the population that are not blessed with good nails. They don’t need to be long or bright if that is not you but a nice set of nails will not only show off those beautiful rings but will make you feel gorgeous as well. If you are having them done for your wedding get them done two weeks before and then have an infill the week of the wedding. This way they will look more natural and you will be used to them by then.
Hair
Make sure that if you keep your hair coloured you get the regrowth done the week before your wedding and have the trim as it was recommended at your trial.
Skin
Your skin is just as important as the rest of your preparations. Monthly facials in the months leading up to your wedding will get your skin in top condition and keep it that way.
Spray Tanning
A lot of brides have spray tanning these days. It is the healthiest way to get a tan if you wish to be tanned for your wedding and it also means that you arrive at your honeymoon with a healthy glow especially if you are going to Europe coming out of our winter into their summer. We always recommend that brides try a tan at least 1 month before their wedding just to make sure they like the look because there is no going back once it is done. It is very appealing to brides with a summer or beach theme in their wedding or gowns that show a lot of skin.
