Q1. Is the make-up artist and/or hairstylist that does my trial the same one that will be doing my wedding?
A1. Yes always. The make-up artist and/or hairstylist that attends your trial will be the same one/s that will be doing your wedding.
Q2. I have a large bridal party will you manage to do them all?
A2. It is absolutely no problem at all. At Beautiful Looks we know additional highly skilled make-up artists and hairstylists for weddings that require more than one stylist.
Q3. Will my make-up last all day?
A3. We use a professional brand of make-up called Atelier- The Professionals Choice. It is French photographic make-up it is long lasting and waterproof without being heavy so it will last all day.
Q4. Am I able to buy the make-up that was used on me at my trial?
A4. Yes. Lots of people fall in love with Atelier. We are stockists of Atelier make-up and can therefore provide you with whatever you need.
Q5. When should I have my trial?
A5. We recommend that you have your trial as soon as possible so as to secure the booking. In most cases we can organise the hair and make-up trial on the same day.
Q6. I’m not sure of the look I want, can you help?
A6. Yes. We are very experienced with weddings and know the right questions to ask you to find out exactly what you are looking for. We take all aspects of your wedding into consideration when helping you choose your look. All stylists at Beautiful Looks have books and/or portfolios for you to look at to help with your choice.
Q7. Will my make-up need touching up later in the day?
A7. Yes. Everyone in the bridal party should have a powder and lipstick for touch ups throughout the day and our make-up artists will explain how to use it properly and when. This will be discussed in detail at your trial.
Q8. I would like my make-up to be touched up later in the day by a make-up artist is this possible?
A8. Absolutely. Should you prefer not to touch up your make-up yourself Beautiful Looks offers a reception make-up touch up service. We will be at the reception waiting for you to arrive and while your guests are being served drinks and appetizers before your grand entrance we will touch up the make-up for the bridal party this takes about 30 minutes and costs $100.00 for the whole bridal party. (Depending on availability - book early for this service)
